I don’t have to do cardio. And I love weight lifting, push training, and sprinting.

It’s a great team sport and also a sport that I can excel at individually.

Win! To become a Bobsled driver and make it to a World Cup level, and represent Canada at the Olympics one day.

I love my sport because:
It allows me to be passionate about sport after I thought my sporting career was over. It gives me something to work towards as I can continually see improvements.
My dream is to:
Make Europa Cup as a pilot. Win the lottery (Only 3 or 4 million, I’m not greedy). Wrestle a polar bear and win.

When you stand at the top of the track getting ready to slide, nothing else in the world matters. Take all the training you’ve done over the years and sum it up in 60 seconds, bobsleigh is ‘thee’ definition of an adrenaline rush

Now that I am retired, I am able to devote more time to helping athletes to develop their full athletic potential. I get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing the improvement of each athlete.
My dream is to:
Produce the best Alberta Bobsleigh athlete possible
Achievements:
Bachelor and Masters degree in Physical Education. 35 years coaching experience as the Assistant Track and Field Coach at the University of British Columbia in sprints. Level 3 theory and practical qualifications in Sprints. Have coached a number of junior and senior athletes to international track and field teams. Coached junior and senior teams at Western Canada Games and Senior Championships. Coached a number of professional CFL and NFL players to improve their speed and strength.
